The Vocabulario was first published in México City in 1593. A facsimile edition was printed in México in 1965 by the Instituto Nacional Indigenista and the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia. In 2009, Maarten E. R. G. N. Jansen and Gabina Aurora Pérez Jiménez published a Mixtec-to-Spanish edition of the Vocabulario, available online . Also online is a scanned version of the copy housed in the Benson Latin American Library at the University of Texas at Austin.3
